DDS-XM100

The DDS-XM100 tape replacement device is a reliable, modern, plug & play solution which quickly and simply extends the usable life & productivity of aging exchange equipment. It offers full connectivity to SCSI and PERTEC systems and offers a configurable level of internal storage up to 48GB.

• Supports most major switches, including NEC NEAX 61E, 61M, 61K, 61BR and 61 Sigma, Alcatel E-10, S-12, Ericsson AXE-10, Siemens-EWSD and other such systems
• Mode switchable between different tape emulation modes in software
• 2x 50 pin Pertec 2.54mm IDC connectors; Adaptor for Kennedy edge connector style available
• 1x 50 pin IDC 2.54mm pre-configured to support Cartridge Tape interface or SCSI
• 1x RJ45, 10/100MBit Ethernet port with software configurable IP address and gateway
• Network software supports remote control of the device, including transfer of files to and from the unit
• 2x RS232 ports on DB9 connectors, for factory maintenance and for remote control
• 1GB internal storage with internal RAID functionality for maximum data integrity; optionally, modular storage architecture supports expansion up to 48GB
• Full ECC (Error Correction Code) implementation on all stored data corrects 1 bit error in 256 bytes, reducing error rate to very low levels with RAID1 providing additional data security
• SD Card for use as external / removable media; optionally can use USB mass storage device
• -48V power supply via standard 6 pin connector with Alarm circuit to detect power faults
• 12V DC power supply via standard DIN plug
• 240 x 160 colour LCD for on-screen display
• High performance 400MHz ARM compatible Marvell XScale CPU with 64MB of RAM
• Table or Rack mountable (via optional brackets)
